OK, being a certified Movie Fan, I watch a lot of them — will list here and tell you what I think — hope you agree if not leave a comment.

1. Rambo

This movie is full of blood, guts and burning children.  It really took a lot to watch this.  Although I went on a date, and well you know how it goes, didn’t watch a lot of it, was busy with other things!   But if you are into this type of movie is a must see.

2. In the Name of the King

Ok, I am only going to say this one time — THIS FILM IS A WASTE OF TIME — CRAP — WASTE OF MONEY — LOL

3. Walk Hard, The Dewey Cox Story

This is a hysterical take on the Walk the Line movie about Johnny Cash.  But be prepared for full frontal nudity (male & female) it happens when you least expect it.

4. Alvin & The Chipmunks

I saw this with my son, and it was true to the original concept that I remember as a child.  It is a great feel good movie.

5. The Bourne Ultimatum

OMG this movie is AWESOME!!!  Matt Damon is amazing in this role.  I really can’t wait for the next one.  I know they say that was the last one, but it can’t be.

6. Charlie Wilson’s War

This movie is fantastic.  I am a big political thriller drama person, as I have a degree in political science you can understand my fascination.  This movie is a topic that I am familiar with, and remember hearing about in my formative (read teenage) years.  Stuff like this is what made me desire a career in politics, however, I soon found out that I don’t have the stomach for all the “crap” that you have to do to get ahead.  But I digress, this movie is phenomenal, and I really like that the writers and the directors didn’t change the type of plot line into a romance between Tom Hanks’ character and Julia Roberts’ character, althought a lot could’ve been put into it.   I liked that they kept it really close to the actual happenings.  If you are interested in this type of socio-politco drama then it is a definite must see.

7. The Spiderwick Chronicles

This is a movie based on the children’s books.  I found it great, and amusing.  However, I took my 4 year old with me to see it, as I was under the impression that it wasn’t scary.  But scary is such a relative term when it applies to children.  I would recommend this movie, but not for children under 8.

8. The Sentinel, 2006

This is a really good movie.  I was impressed.  I watched it online at FilmHill and it was pretty good quality.  Michael Douglas is really good in this role and believable.  I am glad that I didn’t pay $8.00 for this movie, but free online it was great!
